Find Your Ring Size

When buying the perfect wedding ring or engagement ring, an important step is to measure your ring size to make sure your fingers fit perfectly. If you need help measuring your ring size, we have listed three simple methods, presented in the "Ring Size Guide" you can use at home.

Ring Size Tips

Measure your ring size at the right time: Finger size can change throughout the day due to temperature and physical activity. For the most accurate results, measuring your intended finger in the afternoon or evening when your fingers are typically warmer is best. Avoid measuring your finger in the morning or when it is cold or damp, as fingers tend to shrink in colder conditions. Also, since engagement rings and wedding bands are commonly worn on the left ring finger, measure the exact finger where you intend to wear the ring. Measure ring size a few times: To obtain the most accurate ring size, measure your finger at least 3-4 times. Use a non-stretchable material: When measuring ring sizes using a string or piece of fabric, ensure you use a non-stretchable material to avoid obtaining the wrong ring size. Consider the ring width: Wider bands and rings generally have a snugger fit compared to thinner ones. When measuring your ring size or your partner's ring size, ensure you measure a ring with a similar width to the one you plan on purchasing. Additionally, you may need a half-size or full-size higher for a comfortable fit if you opt for a wider band. Consider your knuckle size: The ring typically sits on your knuckle, so if your knuckle is larger than the base of your finger, measure both your knuckle and your finger. Then, choose the average of both measurements as your ring size.
Is there a difference between men's and women's ring sizes?

While ring size is a standard measurement and size, men's rings tend to be wider, which needs to be accounted for when obtaining a ring size. We recommend using thicker bands or sizers for men to get an accurate size. In contrast, using a thinner sizing ring or band is advisable for most women's rings.

Most stores and retailers offer quarter sizes to ensure the sizing is correct if you're between sizes. No two fingers are the same, and no finger is perfectly circular, so make sure the retailer offers free resizing should you need a size adjustment.

Factors like weight gain, weight loss, temperature, and water retention can affect finger size. There is also a chance that pregnant women will have a temporary size fluctuation towards the end of their pregnancy.
